Meet San Diego!

San Diego is a gorgeous little panther with the most enchanting green-gold eyes—she’s like Toothless the dragon (but with teeth!). She may be FIV-positive, but that doesn't slow her down one bit. This sweet girl is an affectionate, floppy cuddlebug who loves to curl up next to you—or right on top of you—on the bed. She’s also quite the conversationalist! Ask her a question and she’ll meow back with a thoughtful reply, especially if she thinks dinner might be involved.

San Diego is incredibly calm and gentle. She spends much of her day lounging in cozy spots or experimenting with new stretch positions in your arms (yes, she likes being picked up!). She also has a hilarious habit of playing with her own tail—she’ll roll over on the bed and try to catch it like it’s her lifelong nemesis. It’s the cutest thing.

She does occasionally get a little too excited and confuse your hand for a toy, but with a quick redirection, she’s very responsive and learns fast. She wants to do the right thing—she just gets a bit caught up in the moment sometimes!

Don’t be fooled by her mellow vibe—San Diego still enjoys a good play session now and then. She’s got perfect manners, doesn’t scratch on furniture, and always greets you at the door with sweet meows and affectionate head rubs when you come home.

She’d make a perfect companion for someone looking for a gentle, loving, and endlessly entertaining cat. San Diego has so much love to give and deserves just as much in return.

This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.

This cat is FIV+ and will live a normal healthy and long life when provided with quality care such as a balanced diet and yearly wellness exams (like any cat). As FIV+ is not transmittable between neutered/spayed cats under normal circumstances, we are happy for FIV+ cats to mingle with FIV- cats in their adoptive homes.
