Meet Vogelbach! Like his NY Mets namesake, he has some seriously adorable cheeks! This super sweet boy was found in a Brooklyn rescuer’s backyard – when he saw her, he RAN right over and was very happy to be picked up and whisked inside. Despite obviously having a hard life on the streets, he hasn’t let it make him jaded. He jumped on the couch and immediately took a nap. He adores humans – he absolutely loves to bump his head against your hand, and especially likes getting pets on his nose! He also loves to follow you into the kitchen when it’s mealtime. Above all, he enjoys snoozing the day away next to his foster. We think he's a home run!
Vogelbach is FIV+ and will live a normal healthy and long life when provided with quality care such as a balanced diet and yearly wellness exams (like any cat). As FIV+ is not transmittable between neutered/spayed cats under normal circumstances, we are happy for FIV+ cats to mingle with FIV- cats in their adoptive homes.
