Domestic Short Hair (short coat) | 3 Years 1 Month | Male

This cheerful, gentle, and shy little boy is ready to sweeten your life. Carlos must have been abandoned outdoors by an owner some time ago because he is clearly a housecat. This tabby with milk-dipped paws is about three years old. Life on the street did not rob Carlos of his sweet temper and overwhelming desire for human affection. He loves to chase ribbons and attack his scratchboard but will also follow you around the house and demand pets and butt scratches. Carlos basks in affection, purrs, licks, and will drool on you. 

Carlos is likely to eventually sleep on your shoulder, but he is very shy and will need time and places to retreat. A cozy hooded bed or cat cave is just the thing for him. He tends to be afraid of other cats so should best be your one and only feline; we think a dog companion is possible. 

It will be thrilling to experience this happy tiger start to explore your home, tail high. He can’t wait either.

*Carlos is FIV+. FIV+ cats can live long and healthy lives, just like any other cat, as long as they are kept indoors and fed a healthy diet. FIV+ cats do not require any special or additional medical care.
