Chili Chester

Don't let her name fool you – Ms. Chili is about as sweet as can be. At around 4 years old, she's found a perfect balance between independence and affection that makes her a wonderful companion.

One of Chili's favorite things is following her humans from room to room, just to be near you. She'll reward your attention with hand licks and gentle headbutts and will happily settle on your chest for cuddles or at the foot of your bed for nighttime company. She’s super soft and loves head scratches and pets. When Chili's had enough interaction, she'll set her boundary by gently pulling away. I’ve never seen her bite or scratch.

Chili isn't shy about letting you know what she wants – whether it's dinner time or she's simply in the mood for some attention. She might need a few days to adjust to your schedule, but she settles in quickly and makes herself right at home.

Your furniture will thank you for adopting Chili – she's never shown interest in scratching anything but her dedicated scratch mat and sometimes a rug. While traditional cat toys don't always capture her imagination, she goes wild for some twine, string, or catnip. Her level of interest in playing varies throughout the day along with her energy levels.

She's a social butterfly who I think would likely do well in homes with children. She is very food motivated– treats are her love language!

Chili is ready to bring her gentle presence and occasional chatty moments into a forever home where she can share her considerable affection.

This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.
