Adopting small animals
Rats, guinea pigs and rabbits
The cafe and our foster homes play host to a rotating variety of rescue rats, rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs. While small and often easier to fit in an apartment or lifestyle than a larger animal, these intrepid companions do have very specific care needs. We are happy to discuss small animal care requirements with anyone considering an adoption.
Pedro Pascal, 1 year old male
Pedro Pascal is an amazing actor, and an amazing bunny! You can find this boy roaming the cafe, he loves exploring. He is super friendly with everyone, humans and cats alike. He is also learning how to do tricks. His favorite one is “stand” and he is already a pro! He loves pets and scritches and would be a good fit for any household.
Maple & Coconut, 3 year old male and 1 year old female
Maple & Coconut are beloved by both cats and humans. They were transferred in from a local shelter, and warmed up to us incredibly quickly. They are already starting to groom cafe staff with tiny licks. They look similar, but have slightly different “hairstyles” so you will always be able to tell them apart! They want nothing more than pets, treats, and a steady supply of hay. They are both altered and their fee is $150 for the pair.
Zendaya, 8 year old female
Cafe favorite Zendaya is a sweet bunny who isn’t available for adoption, but is the queen of our second floor. She loves to sit in laps and get lots of attention (and greens!). Meet this girl at our second floor events today.
Bashful and Dopey, 4 year old siblings
These siblings love nose scritches and cuddles. These sisters were fostered with a young child and enjoyed the companionship. When happy and getting fresh greens they often do little zoomies. Their adoption donation is $95.
