Jack

Jack is a healthy, playful, and charismatic 1 year old male cat. He was recently rescued from the Sunset Park neighborhood in Brooklyn.

This curious gentleman will happily pounce his way into your space four paws first and investigate all that you are doing! Jack would love nothing more than to be included in your plans – he’s quite proficient in watching movies, sending emails, window lounging, general household maintenance, cooking (as well as eating), exploring the fascinating corners of his new home and the best places to hangout with you. His curious nature is endless and his silliness will never fail to leave you laughing at his antics. Jack is also a very gentle and cuddly cat who loves playtime and mealtime. This sweet, charming, and communicative boy will return your love and attention threefold. Jack can still be a bit timid around new environments, big gestures and loud noises can make him a little nervous. He’s still becoming acquainted with cat toys and the nuances of indoor life, but within a day or two his curiosity emboldens him to conquer his nervousness and he'll quickly become familiar and an expert of his zone. Just be sure to reassure him with lots of attention and pets and he’ll be fully content.

Jack is always the first in line at chow time and this boy knows good food! He absolutely loves his wet food – shredded chicken, lamb, duck, and turkey are his favorite proteins. Without fail, after a tasty meal this little guy will nuzzle you with appreciation followed by a peaceful digestive nap. He never turns down a Churu or Tiki Cat Stix or a post meal playtime session. He would be great as the only cat in the house but may also be able to get along with other cats.

This cat can be adopted with a friend or as a single cat.
