Thank you for your interest in volunteering! Brooklyn Cat Cafe is a volunteer-driven organization and we very much appreciate our volunteers' generosity with their time. Volunteers help advance our mission to solve the NYC's cat crisis through community engagement & education along with direct support services. 

Our volunteer team reviews applications on a weekly basis. Accepted applicants are invited to join an in-person volunteer orientation, after which you will sign a volunteer agreement and be invited to sign up for your first shifts! 

At this time we are recruiting volunteers who are over the age of 18 and able to commit to at least 2 shifts a month for the next 6 months. Most opportunities for new volunteers involve working the cat cafe floor when we are open to the public. Additional opportunities become available as you gain additional experience and training.
