Jewel was found abandoned in Canarsie, Brooklyn. She was underweight and had ringworm, but she’s finished her medication and would love to get out of quarantine and into a loving home.
The vet estimates she is between 5 and 6 years old, but based on recent bloodwork, she has the early stages of kidney disease, so it’s really important that she stays hydrated and eats high quality wet food. She is very sweet, but a bit shutdown since she’s been living in a crate for so long.
