Salvage is a handsome gentleman with round cheeks and a stubby tail. He was found in East New York with a lower spinal injury that led to his tail amputation, and he spent the first several weeks in our shelter having our doting staff help him to express his bladder, since his injury made him unable to do so himself. Now that he’s had time to recover he can use the bathroom all by himself, and we couldn’t be more proud of him.
Salvage greets those he loves with a gentle meow and a plea for head and chin scritches, and while he can be a little sensitive about his post-surgery nudeness, he’ll let his favorite people pet his back too! He’s a loving boy who wants to be the sole cat in his forever home so he can be sure he’s always getting the attention he deserves.
