Lucy was rescued from the streets of the Bronx when she was a kitten along with her sister Ethel (also available for adoption). 

Unlike her outgoing sister, Lucy tends to be a bit reserved and cautious around people. She's more of an explorer, always eager to uncover the mysteries of the world around her. Nevertheless, Lucy does have her moments of diva-like affection; when the mood strikes her, she'll seek out her human for some loving attention.

Lucy's future adopter should embrace her unique personality, understanding that she's sweet but not overly focused on human interaction. With time and the right environment, there's potential for her to become a loving and affectionate member of your family.

When she's not off on her adventures, Lucy enjoys playing with toys and has an insatiable love for food, particularly Churu treats. She also gets along splendidly with other cats. She would do best with a very friendly and outgoing cat that would help build her confidence around people/

It may take a bit of time for Lucy to fully warm up, considering the tumultuous months she's experienced since her rescue. She's searching for a family that will appreciate her quirky individuality, offer patience and understanding, and work together to make her transition into her forever home as smooth as possible. While it's preferred that she's adopted with her sister, Ethel, single adoption is also an option for this special feline.
