Domestic Short Hair (short coat) | 4 Years 2 Months | Male

Burr is one of the most affectionate cats ever. He absolutely loves being around his loved ones all the time and never gets bored of cuddles. Burr would love an adoptive parent that spends a lot of time at home (ideally working from home) and who lets him sleep in their bed, as he hates being alone. He has spent the past two months with 3 human roommates and has no problem with several humans around him. If you spend too much time working on your computer, he’ll get jealous and he will sit on your keyboard to collect more cuddles. He does not get along with other cats and he is scared of the outside as well as loud noises. Burr is a fashionista and loves putting on human shoes by putting his paws in them whenever he sees some. He’s also a chatty guy. Burr is perfectly potty trained and has never peed or pooped outside the litter box. In the beginning, he used to kick the litter outside the box but we solved this problem by buying a litter box with a roof. He gets bored of his cat toys after a while, but he absolutely loves playing “mouse under the blanket”, where you move your hand under the blanket and he catches and “bites” it. He deserves a parent or family that gives him lots of love and he will give back just as much. 

This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.

Burr was rescued with dental issues and is in need of surgery. In lieu of an adoption fee, we would be thrilled for a potential adopter to for a larger adoption donation and/or assistance crowdsourcing funds towards their necessary vet bills if possible.
