Lucky Fortune is the perfect friendly, yet quirky tabby cat. He loves attention and will follow you around with your every step. While he’s not the biggest lap cat, he is always within reach, begging for you to play or sleeping nearby. He LOVES a good belly rub and will often plant himself next to you and roll onto his back. He particularly loves toys filled with catnip and can entertain himself for hours chasing one around. He does well with new people and is very quick to warm up. He can be startled easily by new noises, but he has gotten much more confident during his time here.
Lucky Fortune has a bit of a funky walk and at times struggles with balance. It is most likely a mild case of Cerebellar Hypoplasia, a neurological condition in which the cerebellum is smaller than usual or not completely developed. Affectionately known as a Wobbly Cat, this disorder is not progressive or contagious, and doesn’t cause any serious health problems – he just has a distinctive, quirky (and honestly very cute) way of walking around. It doesn’t stop him from running and jumping all day and exploring new spaces and does not cause him any pain. The Internet loves wobbly cats, so she has real viral video potential -- and we have lots of resources to help you get him setup successfully.
Lucky Fortune has a history of a urinary blockage. To prevent another blockage in the future he can only eat wet food. He’s not picky with food and will go to town on any brand.
Anyone would be lucky to have Lucky Fortune as their cat.
