Domestic Short Hair

Ollie and Cecil are two of the nicest, easy going bachelors you will ever meet. They love to look out the window, nap (anywhere and everywhere, but soft spots are preferred), and have a well cultured palate, enjoying wet food with gravy, but not snubbing their noses at dry food. Ollie is also an excellent detective and will sniff out the catnip no matter where you hide it. These refined gentlemen are very strict about their mealtimes, and will politely, but firmly, meow if you are late. However, if you are still asleep, they will let you sleep... but they will hover and as soon as an eye opens, they are on to you. What good manners! Once these gentle giants have become acquainted with their surroundings and their servants (humans), they will show you the sweetest, big boy love you could ever imagine. Ollie is confident, and loves to chill with you- on the couch or in bed, he politely sleeps right next to you, but doesn't smother you. Cecil is the shyer partner around humans, and prefers to nap in soft, cushy places. Cecil’s inner cuddle bug comes out at night. He will gladly sleep in your bed if you let him, sleep in the crook of your arm or next to your feet, depending on his mood, and ask for pets and purr away happily when he gets them! If either one feels they have not received enough attention, they are very good at vocalizing and sharing their feelings. Like most old friends, these two buds like hanging out together, but also know when to give each other space. Surprisingly, shy Cecil tends to be the one who instigates playtime with Ollie. Ollie often isn't interested, and gently swats his way out of the situation to get back to his nap. These bonded tabbies have been through a lot of changes in the past few years. Their original owner passed away suddenly in 2018, leaving them in a locked apartment. They then found a home together, but were returned a few months ago due to allergies. We hope that they can stop bouncing around and find their forever home. These two boys can fill any home with a lot of love and warmth.
